The Encounter is a live performance that explore relationship between individuals and their imagined beings / selves, serving as coping mechanisms during times of adversity. The piece begins with the concept of imaginary companions in adults, followed by character and environment design, motion capture movement design, leading to its final duet.

The Imaginary Being invites her to a hidden realm within herself, guiding her to break the constraint and discover healing and renewal. She returns to reality transformed, even though the Imaginary Being remains unseen and confined in the virtual realm.
