Canopy

3D Experimental Animation | 2024

Canopy is a 3D animation unfolds in a surreal posthuman world where humanoids are born to live within transparent, unbreakable cubes—isolated, yet never truly alone. They gaze at one another through the glass, distorting their perception, unable to speak or hear. The only means of connection lies in the planting of fragile sprouts, tiny seeds of life that they nurture in silence. The vines they cultivate become their voices, their bridges to each other and to the world outside their cubes. But nature demands balance, and when the vines finally touch, the humanoids must vanish, their presence erased to preserve the equilibrium. As they imagine the canopy, in what fleeting form will they realize it, or will it always dissolve in the cycle?
