Breathing Wound

2D Animation | 2022
- Through this phantom wound, one could breathe, imagine, and revive. -

Breathing Wound is an animation that reflect the artist’s "phantom wound," a recurring vision that surfaces during moments of heightened stress or anxiety. This phantom wound is an imaginary 20cm-long cut on her left leg, often metamorphosing in her visualization. It acts as both a surrogate for real injury and a protective symbol for the individual, serving as a form of guided imagery that offers solace amidst emotional turmoil.
